Andrea Evans is a freelance photographer and an elementary music teacher in Caldwell County, North Carolina. She has a master’s degree in Instructional Technology at Appalachian State University, and lives in Bethlehem with her husband and two sons. Photography is a passion for her.  She totes her camera almost everywhere she goes, just in case a special photographable moment comes up.   Andrea enjoys documenting special occasions, family get-togethers and other events that may be memorable for friends and family.  Andrea also enjoys photographing musicians; and, in particular, bluegrass musicians, at concerts and festivals. 

Veiwing the world through the camera lens  has given Andrea a new respect and love for the wonder of nature around her.  She has been able to see detail in her photographs which she has gone a lifetime without noticing .  After viewing some of her images, she said, “Who ever knew a dragonfly had hair, or that a bumble bee had such interesting little feet?”  Andrea takes no credit for the nature and scenic photos she shoots. When complimented on these photos, she will tell you, “The beauty is already there. It’s God-given, created for us to enjoy. I just got lucky and captured it with my camera.”
